Gbase Contest – Get “Clubbed” with Eastwood Guitars

October introduces another great contest to Gbase and its many Gearheads. This one is for all you Guitar-playing bass players or simply for you bass players out there. You’re about to get “Clubbed” by Eastwood Guitars and their mighty fine – Club Bass.
The semi-hollow body CLUB BASS design is reminiscent of the famous 60’s “Beatles Cavern Club” era. The 30″ scale allowed Eastwood to develop a lightweight instrument with great balance and feel. Features a great 60’s tone, this BASS will become your everyday player!
Comes with Bound Laminated neck, Flamed Maple Top, Maple Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard, two mini humbucking pickups, 2 volume controls, floating bridge with trapeze tailpiece. This could be yours – Sign up now and send it a few of your friends as well.

Bluebook is old and outdated
craigslist is just whacked
Guitar trader is effed up price wise.
Can anyone out there come up with a comprehensive pricing chart that changes month to month with the craigslist/ebay/shop sales average? It might be impossible, but it sure would be practical.
When I was a kid in the sixties I had a Beatle Bass my dad bought me in Germany. Another kid had a Club Bass and told me it was better! I didn’t agree but now looking back I think he was right. If I had a Club Bass then i’d probably still have it today. I hope I can win the Eastwood contest and reclaim my glory days! Denis Jones, Bass, The Tombstone Hands, Rochester, New York
That’s a great idea but you are also correct that it might be “impossible.” Prices change so quickly and market as we all know can be a little volatile. THere have been a few websites that have thought about this as part of what they provide. It’s a toughy for sure. People have been using Gbase as an unofficial blue book, simply by searching for the piece of gear they’re trying to price and getting an average. Granted it’s not perfect by a long stretch. We’ll keep an eye out and if we hear of something we’ll post it up here for you.
Gbase.com is the best site I have found for the best guitars out there. I dont trust anyone else!!
