What a great sounding technique like a snare was added, very rhythmic and tasty. You teach very useful stuff that's worth learning. I seem to be going through a growth spurt in my playing……………………..because of you Mark, thank you so much.

Awesome lesson Mark. Thanks. You have a very appealing way of combining explaining and showing at the same time. Keep them coming!

    hello mark!
very impressing lesson as always. i would like to see your fingerstyle to zoom your camera perspective directly to your fingers, laterally. that will be perfect. hardly claims 😆

    best wishes..

So on the right hand the thumb plucks the bass notes on the down strokes and the fingers pluck the D, G and B strings on the up strokes?

Hey Mark – Since you asked … these deep dive lessons on more unique ways to play standards … like Free Fall'n … are excellent, and really make your lessons stand out. Love the way each one sneaks in some new skill development, but skills that are immediately applied to real songs. What's doubly cool (or maybe triply quadrupley cool) is applying same techniques to other songs and performance. Also, I know this one is totally subjective, but I totally dig your song choices. Keep it coming, it's excellent stuff.
