To be honest, you didnt help me very much. Of course you are awesome guitarist, but I think that have spend so much time to teach us the very begging things just like how to play 1/16 and then suddenly you just play a solo. I still cant understand how should I synchronise my left with my right hand.

This is so good, great funky playing! I do notice though that actually your hand does stop swinging when you play the single note stuff…???

too much time to explain that funky feeling while playing….three minutes its enough, showing that final "touch"from the beggining, catching spectators attention from the fist try..

you forgot 1 thang: it's all on the 'one'. (the emphasis, that is)

It was more bluesy than funky. He should of embellished more with the mixolydian mode instead of the common pentatonic scale. But he was spot on about it being all about the rhythm when it comes to playing funk.

This is a very good intro lesson to funk guitar; it's what I have been looking for.
